Monday, schmunday!

Here's my Peyton shot of the day. I'll always try to have one of these at my Mom's request. This is him at "command central" that Grandma Andres bought him. He loves it in this thing! Note the nice sheen of drool on his neck. We're expecting a tooth to pop up any day now based on the amount of drool and his constant need to have everything in his mouth.

Today was better for me than yesterday. I felt a lot better and dear sweet baby slept until 8:00! I have to admit that whenever he sleeps that late I can't help but worry about s.i.d.s. I've just known of too many cases and while I don't believe it will really happen, thoughts of it plague me during those rare sleep-in moments. Jeeez, I'd rather just enjoy the sleeping in! We played a lot today - I felt I needed to give him a lot of good play to make up for the last two days when it was all I could do to hold him.

On the social front...
My friend Suzi called and set up a get together for Wednesday. She's due in two weeks and doesn't know what she's having - I'm so excited. Suzi and her husband Zach also have Ada who is Maggie's playmate so it will be fun to raise kids together. I took Petyon in to my old workplace for a visit today. It has been 2 months since our last stop in and it is always a little bit wierd going back but I enjoy seeing the ladies I used to work with. Linda, the 4-H lady hugged me and said she misses me because I was the only one who ever came and socialized with her. That made me sad for her and I suggested we get together for lunch someday. Nice to know I at least had impact socially!

Ian is still working on finishing the crown and it is looking so good! It really makes our little tract house feel so much more custom and cozy! Now he wants to put it in more of the house! We'll see how he feels when he's finished with this...
