Well this picture really sums it up, lot's of relaxing, lot's of family time and for Peyton, lot's of time with BOTH Grandpa's.It was Ian's Dad's birthday yesterday, the big 6-0! The family gathered and had a wonderful time together. It started Saturday with golf for the majority and shopping for myself, my Mom and my sis-in-law Johanna. A good time was had by all and by late Saturday we were all deservedly exhausted. Yesterday was the party and we all braved the heat to hang out in Bob's (Dad) backyard. It paid off later in the evening however, when one of his gifts turned out to be a firepit. We spent the later hours sitting and chatting around the fire and found it to provide the perfect ambiance for a cool summer evening. We d
rove home earlier this afternoon and Ian got right to work painting our stairwell. He is really motivated to get all of the painting done now so he can put up more crown.Pictured here is Johanna (Happy 33rd birthday today!), her husband and Ian's brother Aaron and on the far right, Ian's brother Nathan.

Peyton is ready to stand all
the time and much prefers it
to tummy time... will he ever
crawl? or go right to walking?
These are the new jammies that Grandma Andres bought him this weekend. Cousin Eli is getting a matching pair so we will have to dress them in them this weekend for a picture!Ahhhh, labor day... so true for my good friend Suzi who is at this moment, in early labor. Her due date was yesterday but it seems much more fitting for her to be laboring today. We are taking their dog while they welcome their little bundle so Maggie is in for one rambunctious good time!
Well it's late after a long day and weekend so I will write more tomorrow!
