Standing tall

Here is Peyton modeling his first ever Levi's jeans! Looks pretty good! Ian and I think this photo makes him look sooo old - have to remind ourselves he's only 6 months...

Well this month Mondays have become our recovery day from the weekend. Today was no exception! I have been feeling pretty lousy - nothing big - just allergies (FALL allergies) and this thing in my arms and upper back. I'm sure it's from carting around this 22 lb. monkey. Major pain in my forearms and between my shoulder blades. I think the allergies aren't helping because I tend to feel those throughout my body. I was pondering today why exactly do I consider fall to be my favorite season. Hmmmm. In honor of fall Peyton had his first sweet potatoes today. He seemed to like them and still smells of them...I must have missed some when I cleaned him up! I made cabbage rolls for dinner, yum! I loooove cabbage rolls and these were quite tasty. I mixed some Italian turkey sausage in with the lean ground beef and it made them really moist and flavorful. Ian was pleased to be fed something different (I tend to fall into cooking ruts).

Tomorrow's Mommy group has been cancelled again. I was looking forward to the social time but at least we will get out for my Chiro appt. and Daddy has been coming home for lunch because he is working in the field (a mile from home).

He looks soooooo good in those Levis'. I love all the pics! I already have the family one framed. It's amazing how that one little face can have so many different "looks".

Nicole, that last picture looks so much like you!!! Cabbage rolls are one of my favorite dishes ever...I remember once having mom make them for my birthday dinner in Tok. My best friend at the time Elizabeth thought I was crazy but I knew they were amazing...

You should make them for your family - they are so easy and delicious!
