It's a dreary day here and I'm feeling a little dreary. My FF team is not doing well today against an opponent who is having the game of his life. So it is...

I'm not actually dreary in reality. Church was really good today - he talked about forgiveness and I realized there are a few people I will never get an "I'm sorry" from and I need to just forgive them and be released from the pain of it all. It was very refreshing. We went to the earlier service and it was during Peyton's nap time so he slept on my chest the whole time. Ahhhhhh, they don't do that much at 6 months so you take it when it comes and you enjoy every millisecond of it!

So I have permission to reveal the good news in Court's life...
Well, they are giving Eli a little sister! I'm very excited because I think it will be so fun to have a niece and get to buy her cute girly things and barbies when she's older. I feel a little sorry for her that she is going to have two older boys to torment her but she'll get lots of attention too! The other news is that they just had an offer on a house accepted and are expecting to close on their little bungalow by November 1st! It's their first house so it is very exciting and very timely with the new babe on the way.

This is Peyton's reaction to applesauce. He kept making these great Calvin (of Calvin and Hobbes) pucker faces and this was the best that I was able to catch on camera. He ate most of the jar but it certainly wasn't his favorite thus far!

In other Peyton news, he is crawling, well, backwards. It started out with him turning in circles and now he can move at least 5 feet backwards. He tends to back himself into corners though and gets pretty frustrated. One of these days he'll figure out how to go forward and then we're in trouble!
