There's just something about...bottles...

Today finds me doing two things mostly...working like a bandit to get this cookbook done and... thinking about my friends. I am so truly blessed. Not only do I have my local ladies but those who reside in Reno, Houston, Spokane, Anchorage AND Fairbanks. I love you all. I received a phone call today from my special Reno friend. She just had a beautiful baby girl. I've been thinking about her so much lately and it was so good to chat. Then I read Miss Texas' blog and she made me smile from ear to ear. My friends are so real and honest about who they are. So, I guess I'm feeling grateful today, not only for my friends but because...duh...I'm going to MAUI in just 3 days!!!!!! It's starting to hit me that we are about to get a real bonafide vacation, not one tied to some business trip or that lasts but a weekend. Nope, we get a whole week in the sun with a private beach and built in babysitters. Don't worry, we won't ask you to babysit too much Mom & Dad!

Peyton is sitting next to me in his car bouncy. He keeps looking up at me and smiling a wry smile. I gave him a Mohawk today for his Uncle Aaron and I took a picture and it didn't come through. Sometimes technology just ain't my friend!

Peyt is on the move again...he constantly wants to be "going places" too bad it's mostly backwards. He rolls a lot now too - pretty funny to watch.
