On the road again...

Tomorrow, Ian flies off to Orlando for SEL University (a work thing), and Peyton, Maggie and I are heading on the road over to Spokane for the week. I will be off blogger (not that I've really been "on" lately) but please check back with me in a week and I will have trip highlights and some new pictures. We will be staying at Auntie Courtney and Uncle Greg's new house and I'm sure I'll have plenty of funny cousin Eli stories. This week was pretty busy, lots of outings and visits with friends. American Idol returned to Tuesday and Wednesday night television and made me feel embarrassed to even live near Seattle...lot's of crazies in the emerald city although I felt slightly vindicated that the worst of the worst were actually from places like Houston and Utah...Grey's was (has been) depressing and watching them unhook Mr. O'Malley from life support was very reminiscent of the moment we had to unhook Chelle from her life support. That was 10 years ago next week so she is on my mind a lot lately. I really can't believe she's been gone from our lives for 10 whole years. So much has changed in those 10 years including me - we would be closer now? Less close? Strange.

Well, I really don't mean to bum anybody out so I'll move on... Peyton's been a little under the weather this weekend but seems to be getting better - I'm really hoping he'll sleep most of the way to Spokane so we can blast straight through. I guess they have a lot of snow there now so Maggie should be really happy. We got her groomed yesterday and she is looking so pretty! I just had to get rid of some of that hair so I can keep my floors cleaner for my little crawler... Well I need to get the little mister in the bath and to bed. Tomorrow starts early...see you in a week!
