Surviving the Ick...

Peyton slept better Monday night but his fever reared it's ugly head late yesterday. I took him to the Dr. today and they confirmed what I expected when I saw the drip coming out of his ear this morning...ear infection...DOUBLE ear infection. My poor sweet baby. I had many as a child and recall them all too vividly. No picnic for sure. He has been such a trooper though. He was very brave and charming at the Dr. and we had a nice afternoon together. He has moments of euphoria and then melts down before my very eyes only to be consoled on my shoulder. Sooo, the fever DID finally break, all the cake is gone (Ian and Peyton helped) AND I still have my sanity.
