what, WHAT?!?!?!

So I went in for my first prenatal exam today, these occur at about 10 weeks... They do an ultrasound to confirm the due date and "oh, looks like we're not as far as we first thought". "What?" Turns out my "peanut" as the midwife referred to it, is only 7 1/2 weeks instead of the 10 that they thought I was. Arrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh! I know it's not true but it FEELS like have to do over the last three weeks! I guess these things happen - due date calculation is, in fact a science... So now my due date has shifted from the dreaded February 29 (thank God) to March 15th, just one week before Peyton's 2nd birthday. I hope this baby doesn't decide to stick around an extra week and crash Peyton's birthday! (My sister Courtney did that to my sister Chelle!) Anyway, that is my addendum to my "news". Shoot... the good news is that the "peanut" looks really healthy and we saw a heartbeat. Now if I could only get the "founda peanut" song out of my head...
