Peyton and his big boy bed...

This is Peyton sleeping in his big boy bed last week. He transitioned flawlessly and has not slept in his crib since. I was planning on waiting until he showed signs of readiness but then MY readiness trumped his. I just can't lift him in and out of that crib anymore. He did great though and really seems to like it. He doesn't get out of bed until someone comes in and tells him it's all right. He also loves to bring some favorite toys to bed with him - as you can see in the picture.

His latest thing is putting himself in time outs. I ask if he needs a time out because he is disobeying and he says "time out!" and goes and gets in the chair. So either they are REALLY effective or not working at all.
