Sarah Palin
is on the Republican ticket!
As a fellow Alaska girl and former University of Idaho student, I can relate to her and think she is smart, real and certainly not "more of the same".
John McCain needed to pick a female running mate to stay alive in this election and I think he made an excellent choice!

It will be interesting to watch how she does - for me, much preferable to Hillary. She seems really sharp, savvy, and still feminine. Nice. And we Alaska sojourners have to be excited, regardless of all else! ~Tutu
Me too! My dad was out at a Gideon breakfast in Wasilla on Saturday morning when reporters descended on the town after the announcement. He was quoted in the New York Daily news talking about his days as mayor of Palmer while she was mayor of Wasilla. She has to be a good V.P. choice, being from Alaska and a U of I graduate. ;) I really like her. Even though she was too good a b-ball player from my rival high school. Oh well. I'll have to forgive her for that.
I'm glad you commented about her ~ I dig her...Jeff calls her "my girl" (and also says she's "hot"!) I think she is very refreshing...I honestly had not been interested in this race because I feel like both sides are more of the same...She adds a refreshing spark to the whole equation. We shall see what happens ~ but she's definitely someone I could hang out with :-) Karin
