My last post of the year...sigh. Seems the older my kids get the worse I get about blogging - maybe it's because they keep me...um...running around like a chicken with my head cut off? Yeah, that's it, oh and the fact that I'm addicted to Facebook doesn't help matters either. Not too much time to write as I'm quickly trying to get my house company ready. I just thought y'all deserved to see some incredibly cute Christmas pics of my, you guessed it, incredibly cute offspring...
Christmas Eve (I got the kids matching pj's so they'd be extra cute while opening their presents. It was difficult to get a cute photo of them what with all the distractions of Grandpa and Peyt's bff Luke around...
Ashtyn was really posing though...
Much to my dismay, Peyton awoke to a VERY wet diaper and actually peed out (my apologies to the squeemish) so much so that I had to find another (non matching) pair of pj's that looked Christmas morning worthy...here he is making his first Christmas discovery, a new CHICHEN! It is really for both kids from Namma and Papa but Ashtyn is a little young to get it yet. My boy, however, loves this toy and spends much of his free time cooking us up all kinds of treats.

Ashtyn actually slept throught the bulk of the present opening but was thrilled to be presented with her new blocks!
Peyton got the hang of opening gifts in no time flat...here he is discovering the very cool Lego set from Grandpa
After a morning of gift chaos and homemade waffles, we packed up the car and drove over the river (okay Lake Union) and through the woods (hmmm, traffic) to Grandmother's house (better known as Tutu). Here is Ashtyn looking quite lovely in her special Christmas outfit...always the belle of the ball!
Peyton sampling his wooden sandwich, a gift from Uncle Nate and Auntie Kirsten
Ashtyn on Auntie Kirsten's lap, looking a bit more like Kirsten's kid with the matching locks (but I swear she belongs to me!)
