Training update and kid photos

I don't imagine anyone visits this blog to hear me talk about how my training is going. Come to think of it, does ANYONE visit my blog anymore??? Well if you're here, you come for the cute pictures of my offspring right? Well you're going to have to read my update in order to get down to the pictures (scrolling past is not an option!) I'm working my tail off so someone is going to hear about it! I knew going into this that I was biting off a lot. My back hasn't exactly been what one would consider healthy the last few years and let's face it, I'm NOT athletic by any means. I have to say though that I have surprised myself a little, okay A LOT. I am consistently going out for 3 miles now. In case you didn't know, that's a 5k which certainly SOUNDS more impressive! I don't run the whole time, that's not how we're being trained. I can run 3 minutes at a time now which is 3 times as long as I could a month ago! Sometimes I feel like at the pace I'm going I'll never be ready for 13.1 miles but I still have almost 4 months to get there so I'm confident that I will. Thank you to all who are supporting me during this little venture, I appreciate it more than you know! Okay, now on to the cute pics!
This is my water girl. All she wants to do these days is stand and play in water...it usually results in a change of clothes immediately following. Can you guess one of her favorite activities is "baff" where she proceeds to pour water over her reluctant brother's head the whole time?
My sweet boy. We visited the preschool he will attend next fall and it's all he can talk about now..."we go to preschool NOW???" It's going to be a long spring and summer.I painted Ashtyn's finger and toe nails yesterday. She was thrilled...after her nap yesterday the first thing she did was hold up her fingers for me to see her pretty nails.Peyton and Daddy working on the new play house the kids are getting for their birthdays...Peyton found this plastic hammer and exclaimed, "oh I DO have tools!"
