My sister has been challenging her friends lately to share how they get ready for Fall...here is my version...
Pull out all my delicious smelling candles and light one a day to fill the house with a warm, cozy scent.
Take brisk walks with my family and let my kids ride the quarter horse.
Fill up the propane tank so the fireplace is ready to soak the house with warmth on those cold Fallish mornings.
Buy tiny, cute pumpkins to adorn my sideboard.
Pull out the cinnamon scented pine cones that my hubby once referred to as yard waste...I think the exact quote was "why is there yard waste in our living room?" Sigh...men.
Bake. I rarely bake in the summer months, something about turning on the oven in an already hot house. Yesterday I baked Pumpkin swirl bread, today I morphed the recipe into Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins...
yeah, gonna have to give those away or I won't fit into my....
Buy new jeans and a cute new jacket just perfect for these cooler days.

Cute, cute, cute and I want one of those muffins...
Well what a great attitude you have! Sure beats my sighs as the days get shorter and cooler and all the plants start curling up and withering - except the weeds. I got a haircut today, finally, after 5 months. Love the pics of the kiddles.
