Started out as kind of a rough day. I woke up with what appears to be a cold on a day that I planned to be so very ambitious. I had no energy and Peyton didn't really either as he evidenced by napping much of the day. Getting sick with a baby around is not fun for two main reasons; there's no sick days for a s.a.h.m. and you really can't be kissing on your kid when you might have some germs to spread.

In spite of things, it turned out to be an okay day. We decided that there was no point putting up crown if it was going to be up against contractor grade dingy white ceilings so Ian painted the living and dining room ceiling in the same color as the walls. It is amazing how much it warms up the room. I'll post some pictures when it's finished...
