Welcome to my first blog entry! I was inspired to start blogging by my dear friend Lisa who lives in Anchorage and is also a stay at home mom. I've never really been much of a journaler but I wanted to start writing down all of the fun things my sweet baby boy is doing so I could look back on them someday and also so I could share them with my family and friends. I promise I'll get better at this once I'm used to it!There he is displaying his latest and greatest, he grabs EVERYTHING!
Tonight, Ian and Peyton and I all went to the local lumber yard to buy some crown moulding for our living room. I'm so excited! I always wanted crown in my house. I plan to do some painting in the house this weekend as well.
Peyton is getting more and more fun every day. It is so much fun to watch his personality develop. He seems to think Dad is a comedian during dinner time and laughs histerically at the sight of Ian chewing his food. He also finds Maggie to be great comic relief as she busies herself with important tasks such as tail chasing and general wandering.
I signed up to become a "mystery shopper" today. It's all still a little new but the jist of it is that I'm supposed to get paid to shop (yes, I've died and gone to heaven) and then submit an eval of the service, etc. I can't wait to see if it's a viable source of income. We don't need me to work but it would certainly make life more comfortable if we had a little cushion.
