So I guess this is a pretty good indication of how well he's sitting... He does tend to "go over" so I usually place some sort of cushioning around him. I guess that's probably pretty normal. He's still really fighting naps and I think he's learned that if he cries long enough Mommy will rescue him and then he gets to sleep all snuggled into her chest. Do you think Mommy minds? He is baby perfection...T.G.I.F! So glad it's the weekend! Ian has been working longer days this week so he's been around a little less. Plus it's our last weekend home alone for the next month. Labor day weekend we are out of town and then we have out of town guests for the next two weekends in a row. I'm very excited for all three weekends but will enjoy doing very little this weekend.
Went shopping with Kelly today and passed up on a tremendous deal on a Senseo Coffee maker - aaaaagh! It was originally $60 marked down to $14.98!!! That's 75% off! For the life of me I couldn't think of who would need one except maybe Ian at work. So I passed on it, the only one and when I told Ian about it he said "I could've used it at work". Shoot, I hate missing a good deal. I did get the outfit on Peyton in the above picture off of a clearance rack. Soooooo cute! I LOVE clearance! Incidentally, the onesie is a 12-18 month size and the shorts are 3-6 month size but the onesie totally fits his 5 month old torso. Go figure.
I was very tempted to buy Peyton and Maggie matching bumblebee costumes from Target even though we're not really that into halloween. Oh my goodness, they were so cute! Can you just imagine the two of them as little (okay, big) bumblebees?! I exercised so much self control! Maybe I should reward myself by going back... just joking... well, kind of.
