Another day of Carp...

I felt so lousy when I woke up this morning - it actually felt a little painful to even have to wake up! Ahhh, hay fever! But, alas, I had this darling little guy who needed me so I pulled myself out of bed and scooped him up. He is good medicine but as soon as he was down for his nap, so was I. It was only an hour but it was a good hour. I was awakened by his little wheezy noises he makes when he wakes up. Not wheezy like anything is wrong with him. He is clearly entertaining himself but for lack of a better descriptive term, they sound wheezy. First he exhales kind of like a loud sigh and then he sucks in the air like one would if they were gasping for breath. It really freaked us out the first time he did it - a reaction to Lala making a blowfish face at him. Now we wake up to it every morning - he's a funny kid.

Mommy group was cancelled today due to illness at our hostess' house. I guess I wasn't the only one looking forward to a little girlfriend time because Gretchen called and still wanted to get together. Yay! I love my time with Gretchen, it is always good. We met at Wendy's for lunch (sounds like another girlfriend) and then headed over to Suzi's house together so she could get a peek at Luke and deliver some food and a gift. It was good to see Luke, oh! and Suzi too. He is so tiny and cute, hard to believe that was once my Pey Pey. After our visit, we popped in to Daddy's work to deliver a Starbucks for his late afternoon lull. It was the last iced caramel macchiato of the season and it was a good one.

Kelley went to the hospital today to get induced! Her due date is officially tomorrow and they had some good non-health related reasons to try and get him to come on time. I hope it all goes well for her and I can't wait to meet baby Ethan!
