Does Rocky live there?

Peyton is modeling his new t-shirt from his Tutu (Ian's Mom). She was in California and visited Balboa Island and "all he got was this lousy t-shirt" actually, it's a pretty cute t-shirt and he got some other fun stuff too...

Okay, probably all kids are like this but mine sure does love the camera already! It's so easy to get great shots of him because as soon as he sees that little silver box cover my face, he starts smiling and posing. Good thing he's a looker!

We did our Costco run today, if you could call it that. Only bought 4 items and it felt... wrong. I don't know about anybody else but I just don't feel right when I have 5 items or less at Costco. The place compels me to load up and I feel like a cheater when I walk out of the store with just a little stump of a receipt. I was only going to get 3 items but then I remembered we need Halloween candy for Tuesday. We get bombarded with "hack or treat"ers (as one toddler called out last year). I was looking at all the candy choices, trying to find one that I wouldn't be tempted by and then realized it didn't matter because even if I didn't eat it, Ian would and then I'd have to buy more. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I spied the remedy to
Halloween overeating - Play Doh! They now sell tiny little containers of Play Doh to hand out. They cost the same as the candy too. I'm sure the teenagers won't like it but frankly, they can just go get a job and buy their own candy!

Maggie is so funny, she loves to have covering over her head and has taken to hanging out under Peyton's crib when I am changing his diapers. It's funny when she has to belly crawl out of there!

Maggie is a kooky dog! I'm surprised that she doesn't spend the night under Peytons' bed...the GREAT protector! Peytons looking grown up in his "new shirt"...adorable as always!
