Friday the 13th...

...and I'm not one bit superstitious so it was just the 13th of October for me. Started packing for our week long getaway today. It is a BIG job to pack for 3 people for an entire week! Not to mention all the extra baby things you need. We ended up heading to Costco tonight to buy an extra duffel (we got a really nice one for under $40) - we'll need it for Hawaii so we figured we might as well benefit from it on this trip as well. Anyway, we were walking into Costco and I hear this "oh...my...God...Nicole?" It took me a minute to clue in to who it was - I must have had a mental block or something - it was Rachel Brock, a roommate from 7+ years ago and really good friend that I had lost touch with. She's married now and we didn't have much time to chat but hopefully we'll be able to get together soon because we could probably go on for hours upon hours just catching up. It was good to see her.

So anyway, we will be gone for the next week and I will have my laptop and camera but no guarantees if I will manage a post every day though I will do my best.
