Not for the faint of heart...

Today was a pretty nice day all things considered. After a trip to my sadistic chiropractor, Peyton and I picked up Ian for lunch. We went to this natural foods market where they have a really good deli. Ian had a chicken salad sandwich, I had curry chicken salad (yummmm!) and Peyton had the usual - and he sat there in his stroller and fed HIMSELF! It was so fun to each have our own meal and ALL feed ourselves (yes, Ian and I have come a long way in that department too!) After that we headed for home as I was out of diapers AND (gasp!) wipes. One very important lesson learned today - NEVER LEAVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT WIPES! The moment I took him out of his seat at the Chiro, I smelled the dreaded poo. No problem I thought to myself, I'll just change him real quick before my appointment. No wipes. Crap. Literally. I used my last remaining diaper and did the best I could but certainly felt like I was loosing good mommy points by the second for not getting every last smidge of poo off my dear one's porcelain bottom. He obviously forgave me as you can tell by his stellar 6 month portraits... He's such a little poser! Naps were all good today - no fussing whatsoever. We wrapped up the day with one monster blowout before bed. Ahhhh, there's nothing like poo all up the back to get you all ready for slumber.

Sweet Dreams Peyton!
