Sunday dinners are back!

Tonight we went to Ian's Uncle Alan's house for dinner. This is something we have done sporadically for the last few years. I'd say Alan probably hosts these "Sunday dinners" 5-6 times a year and mostly in the winter months. They are fun because most of Ian's sibs attend as well as Aunts, his Mom and Cousins. Alan is an excellent cook and tonight was no exception. He served Jambalaya and homemade doughnuts. The flailing Seahawks were on in the background and the house was full! There were 16 people including Peyton who enjoyed (most of the time) getting passed around between family members. He had some good tummy time with Tutu (Grandma).

Ian's cousin Jesse even got down to his level!

It was a nice day of relaxing and time together (our ONE weekend day together) and we made the most of it.

Rick watched the game too and was so dissapointed that he turned it off early. He has not really got to see much since we had kids and the one game that he was so excited about getting to see, turned out to be really, really bad!

Yeah, it's a shame because they are better than that. I think they just had an off night, coming off of a really great victory last week! Tell Rick not to give up on them!
