8 months?!?

Yep! Peyton is 8 months old today! He is looking very grown up in his 12-18 month sized sweater. Lord help us!

He is in dire need of his THIRD haircut but has yet to cut any teeth. He continues to be delightful as ever and is still napping very well AND sleeping all night long. We tried to graduate him to "3rd foods" which is baby food with a little more texture to it so they can learn to chew and swallow non-pureed food. He was hilarious. he could not stand the texture and kept sticking his tongue all the way out and then he would squish his face up as if it were sour tasting. We laughed so hard! We put the jar in the fridge and pulled out some nice, smooth sweet potatoes. He gobbled those right up! Guess we're just not quite ready for texture.
