Another first...Thanksgiving!

Peyton was sitting on Tutu's lap after dinner and her cheek stroking was sending him off to dreamland. Sooo sweet!

What a wonderful Thanksgiving! We got to sleep in this morning and generally relax. We were expected at Ian's Mom's house around 1:00. Ian went for a run, Peyton napped and I cleaned the kitchen from my pumpkin pie factory on Thanksgiving eve. We ended up running late due to the laziness of it all and finally piled in the car and it wouldn't start. Oh great. It's pouring rain, we're late and the car won't start. The battery was fine, it seemed to be the starter. After several minutes of investigation, my unfrazzled husband decided to check fuses. Voila! The starter fuse did the trick and we were off.

It was a very casual time at Tutu's with Nate & Kirsten and Dave & Yulia (Ian's brothers and their wives, respectively). We had a fabulous dinner with all hands contributing and then spent the evening around a board game of sorts. Peyton napped in the spare bedroom and entertained his Tutu and then it was suddenly time to go. It all happened so fast but was probably one of the more enjoyable Thanksgivings I've had in the past few years. Thanks Lynne for a sweet family time!
