It's Lynne's (Ian's Mom) birthday today and she is Peyton's Tutu (Hawaiian for Grandma). She is supposed to be being "lazy" today so hopefully she is lazy enough to do some blog reading! We are celebrating her birthday tomorrow as well as Ian's brother Nathan's birthday (it's Wednesday). We'll be up at Nate and Kirsten's place in time to watch the Seahawks and of course, eat. Should be fun since we haven't seen any of them in a while. We'll be back with the same bunch on Thursday for Thanksgiving so it is a big family week - Peyton will love all of the attention I'm sure!
Today is "small project day" - I have a to do list of about 12 things (all small, hence the name I gave it). Ian might have a different name for his since he is working on finishing the crown and did finances - neither of those things seem small at all! Peyton is dutifully napping. He woke up at 5:40 a.m. today. I got up with him at 6:05 when his happy noises morphed into aggravated fussing, and Daddy relieved me at 7:45 when I promptly returned to my warm snuggy bed. It was a wonderful sleep in and by the time I had re-joined the world Peyton had already completed his morning nap. Yikeys! I made a yummy Saturday breakfast and Ian called his Mom to wish her a happy birthday. Soooo it's been a good day - gonna watch the Apple Cup in about 15 minutes and try to finish my "to do" list in front of the t.v.
