Merry Christmas!

Peyton was checking out all the presents and wondering which were for him! Actually, when it came right down to it, all he really wanted was the BOWS on the presents!

Peyton's first Christmas has been a good one! We hosted Ian's family this year and had a really good time. His Dad and wife Linda came up from Portland and his brothers Nathan and Dave came down with their wives Kirsten and Yulya from Seattle. They all arrived yesterday and we had a nice Christmas Eve dinner and played games. This morning we all got up and made brunch and then sat around and opened presents. It was really laid back and just nice to hang out with them.

Uncle Dave and Maggie had Peyton in giggles while we waited for everyone to get out of bed...

Peyton ended up needing his nap by the time we all got around to the present opening but we saved his one "toy" gift for him to open, with a little help from Grandma Linda...

You have such a adorable child and I have really enjoyed reading all about you and your family. I have to admit he looks a lot like Chelle did at that age. My oldest daughter and Chelle were friends when that young. So glad your mom shares tells about her grandchildren with us. Take care of that adorable baby.

Thank you Bonnie. I too think Peyton resembles Chelle quite a bit. I guess it is a gift from God to help us remember her!
