

Yes, it's raining, heavy rain. Heavy drenching rain. I stepped on the lawn this morning and it was so soaked, it went right through my obviously non-waterproof shoes and right to my toes. It's also a little windy, well, probably a lot windy but I won't go back outside to really know for sure. So we're just having a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon at home. I just made a big pot of spaghetti sauce and it is simmering away. I also made a pasta sauce for Peyton and Ian cooked little tiny star pasta for it. I am going to simmer the sauce for awhile so the meat gets really tender and then throw it in the food processor and give it a spin before adding the pasta. I hope he likes it. Yay Seahawks!! Anyone who missed last nights playoff game against Dallas missed one nail biter of a game! It was so close and hinged on so many little mistakes made by BOTH teams. I felt a tiny bit sorry for Tony Romo for his royal screw up but then thought about how much money he probably makes and decided to forget about him and just be happy for the Hawks! Now, I'm rooting for the Eagles so the Hawks can play against Chicago next week instead of New Orleans. I just think Chicago is more beatable (they don't have as much heart as NO).

Yeah, we are totally in Cowboy country down here and it was certainly the topic of conversation after church on Sunday!! We had our own corner pew I'm afraid...

I actually watched the game (and it was my idea, not Donivan's)! It was probably the first football game I've watched on TV outside of the superbowls.
