For a Friday it sure feels like a Monday. My day has not gone stellar... It started off this morning when I tripped over the baby gate - the CLOSED baby gate. I cut the top of my foot and then broke my fall with my right knee - ouch, lots and lots of ouch. That set Peyton off into crying hysterics. I guess it freaks babies out when their Mommy falls and is making pathetic noises while writhing around on the floor on the OTHER side of the baby gate from them. So I figured i
t was nap time. I put him down so I could shower and get ready before Suzi came to drop off Ada (the dog) for the weekend. When Ada and Suzi arrived, Ada was so worked up she was barking these high pitched squealy barks which woke Peyton up from his nap a whole
hour early. So I got him up and got the dogs settled. I decided to give Peyton a bath which was the highlight of my day as you can see from the pictures - he just loves bath time. Then he was acting really cranky and like he was ready to try napping again so I put him back down. He just cried the entire time so I got him back up and was cuddling him when he puked on my foot. That pretty much sums up my day - puke on my foot. He is fine - I think maybe he ingested a little too much bath water or something but he is not sick. In the midst of all this I did manage to create a tray of beautiful chocolate dipped strawberries and bananas to take as dessert to a friends house for dinner tonight - I treated myself t
o a few of the them and that AND my baby down for a much needed nap made my day a little brighter.

AHHH he is sooooo cute! I can't wait to see him at the end of month. I am glad to hear your day got better. Hopefully today will be much better! Have a great weekend!
Ohhhhhhhhhh. I'm sorry about your foot twice over...cut and barf. That last picture of him in the doggy towel is priceless. It needs a caption like "Whatcha lookin' at" or "I'm tired of this dog on my head" or "It's been a rough day"...
