My little boy...11 months old? Really?

My, my how time passes quickly. If ever you think life is slow, have a child. My sweet boy is 11 months old today and I know the next month will pass all too fast and I'll be the mommy of a 1 year old.

It's been a rough week...Monday, Peyton started displaying signs of either a cold or more teething. Turned out to be a cold. He woke up crying at around 11:30 Monday night, only content when I held him (which I cannot do all night long) and we ended up having to let him cry it out - PAINS me to do that. He was awake again at 4:00 briefly but I didn't get much sleep after that. He has not napped well at all, fighting it with tears as soon as I lay him down. It's so hard when I know how badly he needs the sleep... He started coughing somewhere around Tuesday night and coughs periodically through the night. There is just something about hearing your baby coughing in the middle of the night that completely robs you of the ability to relax and sleep. He's being a trooper though, except when I have to wipe his little nose. Yikes, you'd think the Kleenex had daggers all over it! Ian and I are starting to feel the effects of robbed sleep and the cold is creeping in. I had to cancel my Dentist appointment for tomorrow because I can't leave Peyton with my sitter and her kids and risk exposing them. Bummer. Oh well, who really loves going to the dentist anyway???

The big talk this week seems to be the buzz about Grey's Anatomy and if they will really kill off Meredith. I say no way - she will have some kind of awakening or something and be a better person - all shiny and new. At least I hope that's what they'll do. Sure has caused some of my friends some worry though, you'd think she was real! Now if it was McDreamy on the death slab, I'D be sweatin'!
