Cousins...

Another Bloomsday is under our belt and it was the best yet...Ian broke his best time and posted 59 minutes. He was very excited and it was fun to watch him cross the finish line this year.

This is of the finishers just after crossing the finish line. Can you find Ian?

We went over to Spokane on Saturday morning and got there in time to have dinner with the Henson's and the James'. Did I say HAVE dinner? I meant MAKE dinner. It seems that whenever I go to Courts I end up cooking (not intended on either of our parts - just ends up that way). It was a good dinner (if I do say so) and we followed it up with some fresh Strawberry Clafouti which was a hit all around (except for Eli who only ate the whipped cream off the top of it). Sunday morning was Bloomsday and after a full family (Mom and Dad came up) pancake feed we spent the afternoon in Greg & Court's backyard playing with bubbles, badminton and pulling the boys in the wagon. We ended the afternoon with a lovely bbq'd steak dinner and strawberry rhubarb pie (the rhubarb was picked from Court's yard THAT afternoon!) All in all it was a fabulous weekend. It's so fun to watch Peyton and Eli play together - they really seem to enjoy each other and Eli is pretty good about taking Peyton under his wing.

Today was Mommy group and we had a stellar turnout! It was so fun to just hang out with all the ladies and to see how much all the babies are growing up! We had 10 moms and 13 kids today and were missing two moms and 3 kids. It's amazing to me how well behaved all the kids are together (must be a testament to what wonderful mommy's we are - ha ha)...

Eli and Peyton are so cute together. I love all the pictures! I had a great time with you and dinner/dessert were wonderful! We will try to come out your way in June. Maybe by then I will have energy and feel better :)

Okay, can I come live with you? I don't even know what Calfouti is but if you made it God is eating it in heaven too. I love the black and white photo of Eli and Peyton, what a great weekend you must have had. Also, what an amazing turn out for your mommy group! I think I'm going to explore joining one in the next few weeks so we'll see...
