Last weekend we went to a new vacation destination on the Washington coast called Seabrook. It's a new town built by developers. The houses are built new to look old. Sounds weird but it is absolutely delightful! We spent the weekend there with Ian's three brothers and their wives.
Peyton and I started the weekend off coloring in his first coloring book. He was really more interested in playing with the crayons than coloring but it was fun.
Nate and Kirsten cooked vegetarian chili for us the first night as we waited for the rest of our group to arrive...
After a sleepless night for Ian and I, Peyton was all smiles as he ate breakfast (HE got to sleep at the expense of Mommy) Ahhhh, parenthood. Gotta love it!He woke up from his nap feeling extra snuggly with Daddy and then we headed out to the beach for a nice family walk
...
It was a great little vacation, we plan to go back soon!

I want to come too! Maybe when it a little warmer though. After so many years I still can't associate the beach with anything but warmth. I wouldn't want to ruin that. I showed my Mom all the pics on your blog and we both agree Peyton is a cutie!
Sounds like a fun time. You sure do get to do some fun traveling! Too bad the P-man won't let you sleep though. I'm sure you're feeling like you need all you can get these days!
It's beautiful...we are way overdue for a trip to the coast. I'm sure Greg would be on board. The house is super cute and a red couch to match! I can't wait to see you next weekend!
