So I broke down and bought a new blender. I had some Christmas money from my M.I.L. and found a deal at one of Macy's "one-day" sales. It's an Oster and it was 1/2 price! I love a deal! the best part is, it has an ice-crushing button and makes the most glorious snow-like ice for perfect slushies. It's better for my teeth that way too! I indulge in my ice cravings now about 3-4 times a day. Ian was so glad to see the hammer go back to the garage and has even asked a couple times for me to make him one of my special slushies. I'm sure you're all resting easier now...

That is so funny! I totally craved ice too! My hubby made many trips to am/pm where they had crushed ice. and hospital ice is the best! i bet i ate my weight in ice while i was there!
