This post is really for me although I'm sure Namma will enjoy it. I wanted to jot down Ashtyn's first words and what she's up to these days so I don't forget.
Uff - (Off) she uses this for on and off - LOVES to bring me her shoes and say "uff, uff" meaning "put on my shoes please!"
Baaa - (ball) She has a giant bouncy ball that she loves carrying around "baa baa baa!"
Mama - pretty self explanatory though mostly used in times of distress over and over again
Dada - again pretty easy to get and always said with a joyful expression. She loves her Dada
Hiiiiii - her cutest and friendliest word...LOVE it!
Baby - heard this one a little while ago when I handed her a baby doll!
Out - used seldomly, usually to get out of something like her high chair
Up - to be picked up
Nana - (Banana)
There are probably a few I am forgetting and will remember later when she says them. Another thing she does is when she wants to be in a particular place she will emphatically point over and over. She loves baby dolls and stuffed animals and greets each one with a hug and an audible kiss "mmmmmuuuuuaaaahhhh". She is delightful but a bit of a bully to her older brother. She grabs, scratches and hits him for attention. I think she is just frustrated by her inability to fully communicate with him. She doesn't yet understand when she hurts someone and giggles at the pained reaction. She is past walking and on to running and bless her heart, when she wakes up in the morning, she quietly plays in her crib until I go get her.
Sorry for the lack of pictures. I'm on the laptop and can't access any right now...will upload later!

Love it.....It's always fun talking with her on the phone..:-)Namma
I love this post, Nicole! I wish I would have done more of it with Lindsey and Clara! This will be so nice to have down the road! Even as a baby Clara knew how to "push Lindsey's buttons". She still does!
Sweet girl! Her and Gavin should be able to communicate well.
Very cool! I was thinking of doing this for Jayden's words just the other day. He is two years old, but still doesn't have a huge vocabulary. The stuff that he does say is really cute, though!
