I'm on to something here...
I just asked the kids to pick up their toys to which Peyton replied "it's too hard". "I can make it easy for you", I replied, "I'll just get the vacuum and suck them all up". Two minutes later the floor was devoid of toys.

Ah...you are learning the tricks of the trade.
With my girls sharing a room I often get the "that's not mine it's hers!" excuse for not picking up. So, I found a good one for that too. "Okay, you put away yours, and you put away yours and whatever is left get's scooped up in a bag because it belongs to the goodwill!"
Hahaha! Good one!
Oh I might just have to try that!
