You're doing WHAT???

I've decided that 2010 is my year!
For what, you ask?
To make myself over.
I've done something a little outside my box...set a fitness goal.
I want to run a half marathon.
What??? Who is this?
Yes, it's me, Nicole...maybe you've known me for years, maybe we're new friends.
Heck, we might even be related!
Well if you DO know me, you know that I'm not athletic...at all.
I'm changing that NOW.
I've signed up to run the Rock n' Roll Seattle 1/2 Marathon
3 days before my 37th birthday
(ouch I said it...3-7)
Why am I telling you?
Because I need your support.
I cannot do this alone which leads me to the other part of my makeover.
I want to do more for other people, people I don't even know.
Well my two dreams have merged as I joined
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training!
They're going to give me all the help I need to achieve my dream of running and I'm going to help them achieve their dream of curing blood cancers.
It's a win, win. I've had friends who've lost parents to Leukemia and it was painful to watch. My own Uncle is living with it and I want to help find a cure!
Here's how YOU come in, I need to raise $2500 for LLS and
I can only do that by YOUR donations.
I'll do all the hard work, getting up early and running my (now) unfit body through the rain, all you have to do is donate (what you feel you are able) to a great cause!
