Reflections on a 7 lb. Angel...

When did this tiny baby become such a little person? It seems like hardly a few weeks has passed and all of the sudden we have this little angel boy with all this personality and charm. I'm just so in love and grateful for such an amazing kid.

So anyway, not much to say today. It was chore day around here and we both managed to accomplish quite a lot in spite of Peyton's inability to nap until 4:30 this afternoon when he finally passed out from sheer exhaustion. He didn't awaken until 8:00 but still managed to promptly crash again at bedtime. Ahhhh bedtime, gotta love it. Speaking of bed time, I'm exhausted right now. Just finished making a birthday cake from scratch for two of my sisters-in-law. One of them turned 30 on the 22nd and the other turns 33 on September 4th so we are celebrating tomorrow afternoon up in Seattle. I tried a new recipe so I hope they like it!
