9/11

I watched the movie "Flight 93" this morning and I remembered. I remembered the very place I was sitting as I heard the news. I remembered what I did for an entire week following. I'd forgotten what it must be like for the victims and their families until I watched that movie. So today I remembered, I remembered their pain, their loss. I remembered that the Trade Center was not the only place where tragedy happened that day. I remembered that those were real people just like me who died that day and who lost husbands, wives, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, mommies, daddies, grandchildren and friends. I remembered what we are still fighting for. I remembered and it made me cry.

So this is what my little bugaboo looked like a lot of today. He's finally figured how to hold in a pacifier and so I guess he's decided he likes it. Funny kid, very fickle. He was sitting in his bouncy while I was uploading photos and was playing with his funny little spider toy (she has 8 different shoes and they all do something different). Imagine my displeasure at such a toy (I'm deathly afraid of the 8 legged freaks). He was so cute because he was getting impatient so I started singing the Ants song (his absolute favorite) and next thing I know he's crashed there with his hand clutching one of the spiders legs and still sucking on that pacifier. Sooooo cute. LOVE him!
