Tuesday's child

He is sooo cute in this outfit, I just had to get a picture of him in it before he had a blowout. That came at about 6:45 when I was trying to get him down for his evening nap.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are my longest days and today was no exception. Ian comes home from work and then runs about 5-6 miles so I am left to deal with Peyton in whatever state he's in and cook dinner. I'm not complaining, Ian needs his running time and Peyton is a pretty easy baby, however on days like today, it is hard. Today he was so needy for me all day. He didn't want to play independently, he wanted to be held all day. Every time I'd pick him up he'd take his little hands and pull my cheek to his mouth and plant a big open mouthed kiss on me and then proceed to suck. I think it's really funny when he does that - not sure what he's trying to accomplish but funny. I sang the ants song A LOT. It's amazing the effect that song has on him. Anyway, I am exhausted from being someone's everything all day...

My first fantasy football game went extremely well. Not only did I beat my opponent but I posted the highest score in the league! Beginners luck I'm sure but it was very exciting nevertheless.

I made dinner tonight for us and three other families in my Mommy group who all had or are about to have a new baby within the last month. My mom's sweet & sour chicken (like none you've ever had). I hope they enjoy it!

I love that little "innocent" face..........it's wonderful that you can be there for him 24/7 during his "needy" stage. He's one lucky little guy to have such a loving Mommy and daddy!
