A looooong Sunday drive...

Peyton tried out our hotel bed for us and deemed it satisfactory. He gets to sleep in his nice pack and play.

Well, we made it, all the way across our great state. We got in at about 3:30 and had just enough time to unpack before heading to Courtney and Greg's for dinner. She made chili with rice, yumm - one of my favorite all time dinners. Mike and Laura were there and she brought salad and we brought a pie I made yesterday at home. It was really fun and Eli was really cute with Peyton. He got right down on his level and shared his toys and played with him. It rained all day long which made for some tense driving at times. We had a full load with all the baby stuff needed for an entire week AND Maggie. She was buckled in her doggie harness right next to Peyton the whole way. It was pretty darn cute - I'll have to take a picture of it on the way home. It was great entertainment for Peyton during the awake times to have his silly faced doggie right next to him too. She is happily and most likely dirtily playing with Jemma and Duke, Mike and Laura's dogs, as I write... Well it's off to bed in our little room away from home...
