Another first...

Peyton had his first Biter Biscuit today! It's a little early according to the box they came in but he sat in his high chair the whole time, supervised so I felt good about it. He didn't know quite what to do at first except strike a pose - he really lights up for the camera! I finally had to show him where it goes and as you can see in the third photo he got the hang of it very quickly!

Today was Mom's group and we went out to Lake Tapps to Andrea's house. It was fun even though none of my original friends were there. I am enjoying getting to know all of the different mom's and I think we all learn something from each other every time. Peyton had an hour nap before we went and then slept during the ride home and that was it until late afternoon when he FINALLY crashed for a solid 3 1/2 hours. I'm quickly getting over my cold - fatigue is the only really evident remaining symptom but now Ian is starting to feel under the weather - I guess it's good to take turns so we can also take turns parenting for the downed parent.

Be warned that those biter biscuts turn into gooey liquid that eventually harden into biscut cement. Works great if they're teething though.

Yeah, cleanup was a bear - that's why he can only have them in his high chair - last thing I need is biter biscuit all over everything!

Finally cuteness gets a yummy chew toy! Will he be getting "turkey and the trimmings" on Thursday? :)?
