I discovered that today is the 6th day in a row that I have not left the house...so I decided to take Peyton and Maggie for a walk. Easier said than done. Maggie is not a gentle walker. She crosses back and forth in front of Peyton's stroller, pulls off to the left, off to the right. Thankfully it only took a couple of times of the front wheel of the stroller literally nipping at her heels to get her to calm down and walk like the lady she truly is. I learned WHY I hadn't left the house in 6 days BESIDES the horrible roads, my weird head illness and just not having anywhere good to go...it was COLD! Okay, all my old Alaska friends are laughing at me. I'll admit in my day that I proudly survived -60 F, however, as years go by, one loses their tolerance for such bitter cold. Surely the 25 F it was here really had a wind chill of at least -20 F?
So lest you think I dress Peyton in the same outfit everyday, these pictures were actually taken yesterday on our snow day. I didn't whip out the camera once today since I still had all these cute photos to share.

Ian and I are quite proud of our little HE-MAN. He catches those bars MID SWING! That swing was going at full speed and he just stopped himself. Then he just sat there all proud of his accomplishment and we the beaming parents do what all beaming parents do...whip out the camera.

Wow! Such a STRONG little guy! He is definitely thinking outside of the box. Most little ones would be content to just swing....not him ...he has to control his movement and figure out what the bars are for...CUTE!
