Well this is my first post of the new year. So far it's been
a good one. Peyton is officially crawling now. He does it military style and can slither across the entire living room in the blink of an eye. It's pretty funny to watch because he looks like he's sneaking up on something... I suppose that is one way to preserve his knees. He had his 9 month well visit at the Doc today. He is 30 inches tall, 25 lbs 13 oz. and appears to be very healthy. He had two shots, cried like (what else?) a baby when he got stuck but overall was a real trooper during our tremendous wait. I took him by my old office to show him off to the ladies and we had a good time visiting there for awhile. Found out one of my old co-workers is pregnant with twins - it was quite shocking because this is the girl who "never wanted kids". It is planned, however, and she sounds genuinely excited so I am really happy for her. Twins. Yikeys! New years eve was fun. Ian golfed (yup beautiful day in the NW) in the afternoon and Donivan, Kelley and Ethan came over and we did the whole egg roll and fried rice thing. We played games until about 10:30 when they went home and then Ian and I, determined to last to midnight, parked in front of the t.v. and watched fox countdown the new year with some pretty lame entertainment and hosts. New year's day, we pretty much lazed around - I played Sudoku puzzles while Ian created them and Peyton napped and played. It was a good day.Resolutions: Let's just say I don't really do resolutions because I think it makes you put too high of expectations on yourself and let's be honest, they set you up for disappointment and failure. However, I DO intend to enjoy the year ahead and continue what I started this fall with my healthy eating. I DO intend to take Peyton to the Oregon coast and on visits to his grandparents in Oregon, Idaho and Washington. I DO intend to enjoy my new niece who is to arrive in February. I DO intend to visit Auntie Courtney, Uncle Greg, and BOTH cousins a lot this year with Peyton (we already have 3 trips planned before the end of May!) And last but not least I DO intend to be the best Mommy, Wife, Daughter, Sister and Friend that I can be. Okay, how's that for not resolving???

You already are a GREAT daughter and all the rest that you listed! Soon you'll have to block off the stairway.....Mr. McCutey will be trying to climb up to see what's happen' on the second floor.
Crawling! How exciting! Like I've said before too cute for his own good and now that he is moving, watch out!
Ummmm, Alex is almost four and he weighs 28 pounds. That of course says nothing of your little boy. Alex is a shrimp! We all know he makes up for it in attitude...which I have no idea who role modeled that, Matt! Ha ha, he'd have a good laugh over that one! I'm glad you had a good New Year's. You are one amazing lady!!!
Hi Nicole - New Year's Eve was fun - we stayed up till midnight too, but only because I was feeding Ethan. Take care!
