little people, BIG PUMPKIN!

It's November already???
Last weekend, we went to Portland to visit Ian's Dad, Step mom and Grandma. It was a whirlwind weekend and lots of fun! Saturday we visited Roloff Farms to get a pumpkin and see if we could see any of the family. For those of you who don't know, Roloff Farms is the home of the Roloff family, from the hit TLC show "Little People, Big World". While there I got to see Amy, the Mom and had my photo taken with her. She is a very
gracious lady and it was fun to meet her!

Me, Peyton and Amy Roloff (Note: I am kneeling, she is not, she is really that little)

We picked what must've been the last good pumpkin they had, paid for it (spotted the daughter, Molly) and had to make a hasty exit so we could get to Salem in time for dinner with Grandma. Next year I want to go back with enough time to take a tour of the farm - they have a lot of fun features like an old west town, a zip line, a pirate ship etc... We had a great time with Peyton's Grandparents - he really loves them - we're so blessed that he loves each of his Grandpas and Grandmas...

Peyton update:
*New favorite phrase - "man o' man" after I said it to him once (better be careful what I say from here on out!)
*My boy is polit
e! He now says "tattoo" (thank you) and "pluethe" (please) with prompting.
*He loves to open the front door with an emphatic "Haaaaa" (Hi)
*After a couple weeks of night waking and then getting up for the day at 6:00 am, he has given me 4 straight days of sleeping through the night until 8:30!!!! (knock on wood)
*His favorite toy is STILL a phone (not a play phone, a REAL one) as demonstrated here...

This weekend, his OTHER Grandparents (my folks) will be here so there will be more spoiling!

Love the music! I would really like to go to the Roloff farm with you next year! We're looking forward to our week-end with the "Wrenches" and of course seeing our friends from Georgia.

I scrolled down and saw the picture of you and Amy and thought wow she looks really familiar who is that? Then as I read was like "OH!" What a fun outing.

It's so great that you are writing down his little words. You really do forget a lot of it. So cute:).
