Play that funky music white girl

Does anyone else out there ever just feel CRANKY and generally mad at inanimate objects and you don't really know why? You trip over a toy and just want to throw it through a wall? Is it hormones? Will it pass? Can Bruce Willis and the Mac guy make it all better with 2 hours of action? How about peppermint ice cream - will that help? Where's my Christmas spirit? Will it return tomorrow? Perhaps blogging about it will get it all out of me, at least thats my hope in sharing the ugliness of my current attitude. Oddly, in the midst of my downtrodden spirit, my son hugs me, my husband eggs me on (in a good humored way) and I really do know that probably all I need is one good night of sleep in my newly outfitted super cozy chocolate and powder blue bed. I get to have a pedicure tomorrow and they have these great massaging chairs - perhaps that will do it.

Okay, funk over. This just overheard from the bathroom...(Ian is giving Peyton a bath) "Is that a turd? Did you just make a little Hershey kiss in the bathtub for Daddy?" Peyton's reply... "for Mommy!" 'nuff said. (side note... Daddy was bluffing - probably just to see how I'd react... ha ha)

Other darling Peyton musings from the day... upon leaving the produce section in the grocery store where we'd just picked up some bananas..."bye bye nanas!" Later, after tossing his cup of Cheerios to the back of the cart..."bye bye cheeyos!" My boy is putting two word phrases together! He also pointed at his car today and said "mine car". Oh my, it's already starting... "mine, mine". Just as long as he knows that HE is MINE and I couldn't be prouder!
